Publishing at QuakerInfo.com Updated September 24, 2003
QuakerInfo.com welcomes material for publication at this site. Much of the material is written by the Webservant, Bill Samuel, but the value of the site is enhanced by having a variety of authors.
This site is about the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Therefore material for publication here needs to be related to some aspect of Quakerism, or be about Quakers.
All inquiries about publication on this site, and manuscripts for publication, should be submitted to the Webservant. You will retain all rights to anything you publish here. You may also publish anything you write that is published here elsewhere, either electronically or in hard copy, with no need to obtain prior permission. Publication of any material here shall be at the sole discretion of the Content Manager. We will delete material published here whenever so requested by the author as, for example, may be needed in order to enter into an exclusive publishing arrangement elsewhere.
Articles and Book Reviews
Articles and book reviews should be at least 250 words in length. There is no set maximum length, but longer articles may be broken up into several parts. We will include brief biographical information about the author, and a link to the author's Web site, if any, and/or information on purchase of one or more books or other items of the author available for sale. No payment will be offered for articles, as articles do not necessarily produce revenue for the site. We prefer submission in HTML format, but will consider other formats.
News
We also welcome reports on yearly meetings and other Friends' gatherings, and other news about Quakers. They are similar to articles, but will not be included in our articles list. They will be featured for a time on the Quaker News section of our main page. We also use that section to link to news items which are published elsewhere on the Web, so send links as well as stories.
Paid Content
Longer works, including books, were able to be published here as paid content in PDF format. However, this option is not currently available. If you are interested in this possibility, please let me know.
